PQP Result for January 2019

Into the new year and here we go. Well, not really 2019 yet but we know the price for the COE renewal if your car expires in January of 2019, here are the results:

Cat A $26,047

Down by $1,524 compared to the month of December 2018

Our PQP prediction made for January was for a fall of $1,693 versus the previous month’s PQP, we missed the mark by a close $168.

Cat B $31,335

Down by $218 compared to the month of December 2018

Our prediction was for a fall of $302 compared to previous month’s PQP so we missed the actual price by $84.

Cat C $28,171

Down by $15 compared to the month of December 2018

Our prediction was exactly to the dot, to the dollar!

Are You Happy With Our Prediction?

We are, for being on the dollar for Cat C prediction. For Cat A and B, we are also relatively close to the score, especially for Cat A, where there has been a fluctuation in the COE prices, we still managed a less than $200 difference in the actual and our predicted, and Cat B has been easier as the COE prices have been stable, we managed a less than $100 difference in the predicted price versus the actual.

So things are looking better and better for those seeking renewal of their car’s COE in the next year – we already had a bumper year for 2018 with prices going down and car owner’s being quite happy with their renewals.
